I came to Grace’s workshop feeling a bit dried out creatively. I knew working alongside other people would be good but I didn’t expect the absolutely transformative power of the sessions and Grace’s careful nurture. In the space of five weeks, I drafted and revised nine pieces and have since submitted seven. Two have already been accepted for publication. The sessions were an excellent opportunity to talk flash, to hear and encourage other writers (from new to very experienced), and to be encouraged. It meant I re-evaluated what was in my WIP folder and I’ve now started to finish and submit the backlog there! It feels like a fire was lit under me. And that’s priceless.”

Grace is a wonderful creative writing tutor. During the six-week workshop that I attended, she provided the group with lots of stimulating prompts to help us become more productive writers. She fostered an inclusive atmosphere that helped everybody gain the confidence to share and critique each other’s work.
