Discover how to tap into your creativity and write short stories that matter to you. This course will help your writing flow. Each week there will be plenty of writing prompts. Working alone and in a writing team, we will create brand new short stories and gain inspiration from contemporary short story writers. Cost: £105 for six sessions

Three-Hour Introduction to Writing Flash
From £22.80 - £28.50
Explore writing flash fiction, the shortest of short story forms. In this taster session you will create flash fictions from prompts, and receive editing tips and ideas to improve your work in a supportive, fun session. We’ll also discuss opportunities to preform and get your flash published.

Each week is themed so you can mull over ideas in advance and we also cover productivity, motivation, inspiration. There will be time to share work in the Zoom room in a collaborative and supportive collective of writers.
It is suitable for beginners, and more experienced writers.

Crafting Short Stories (Online)
A 6 week course from 16th April 2024 - 21st May 2024

Expect lots of study and discussion of contemporary short stories as well as writing exercises. We will study The Best British Short Stories 2017, edited by Nicholas Royle and published by Salt.
This course is aimed at more experienced writers who want to learn techinques for plotting, story theory and how to structure a story. On this course you receive comprehensive feedback on two short stories and masses of support so you can find your unique voice.
